Story Update: Walsh Wants To Hire Chris Mullin

Donnie Walsh confirmed today that Chris Mullin is his choice to become Knicks general manager and possibly his successor.

"If I could hire anybody Chris would be the guy," Walsh told The News. "That's who I want."

Talking from Milan, Italy today, Walsh confirmed what has already been suggested many times. It will be interesting to see if and when he will get his way, as James Dolan appears hellbent on bringing back Isiah Thomas.
