New York Knicks Enjoy Big NFL Game Day

After taking down the Pistons in Detroit on Saturday during a 103-80 victory, many of the New York Knicks rounded out their weekend by taking in what proved to be an exciting Sunday of NFL playoff action.

After seeing the likes of Justin Tuck and salsa king Victor Cruz show their support for the Knicks, attending games earlier last week, the likes of Amar'e Stoudemire, Iman Shumpert, and Renaldo Balkman returned the favor, watching the hometown New York Giants stomp all over the Atlanta Falcons, 24-2.

Toney Douglas also attended the game, but could not have been found celebrating the Giants' victory, as his brother, Harry, plays in the NFL for the losing Falcons.

Other members of the Knicks, such as Tyson Chandler and Jeremy Lin, also watched some football on their Sunday off, joining other NFL fans in awe of the ongoing heroics of Denver Broncos' quarterback Tim Tebow.

Take a look at the array of tweets from the Knicks below summarizing their day of NFL excitement.

  1. The Knicks should take inspiration on what the NY Giants have done. It was a marvelous 2011-2012 Season for the Blue Men.
